About Arlington FC

Arlington Futbol Club (Arlington FC) was originally founded at Lake Lucina Youth Association in the mid 90’s as Greater Arlington Soccer Club, Inc. (GASC). As our needs grew to be able to play soccer on a year round basis, we had the need to find our own facility and fields.

Thus it began,as we started playing on the fairways of the old Dunes Golf Course.  About this same time City Councilman Jim Tullis had just purchased The Dunes Golf Course for City Parks and Recreation Department. This was the answer we needed – a place to play soccer year round. In 2004, we have expanded to 12 fields for soccer, which includes fields with lights, a modern concession stand and a meeting room. In 2005, the name of the park was officially changed to Ed Austin Regional Park. We currently have over 1300 players registered with our club. We offer players an opportunity to play on teams at the U5 - U19 level (both boys and all girls teams). We have expanded our programs to include Premier level teams in an effort to offer players an opportunity to take their game to the next level.

In 2011 the club unanimously voted to change the club name from Greater Arlington Soccer Club, Inc. (GASC) to Arlington Futbol Club (Arlington FC).  With the name change came our new crest.  These changes were needed to reflect the new times and revitalize the club.
